Overview

Smart Tool Reviews publishes reviews and comparisons of online services. This policy explains the limited information that may be processed when you visit the site.

Information processed

We do not currently offer user accounts, accept payments, or operate a contact form. The hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, ad interactions, and consent choices to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Where required, Google's certified consent platform displays a privacy message before advertising cookies or personal data are used for personalized advertising. Affiliate links

We use Impact to process eligible affiliate links and record impressions. Impact and destination providers may use cookies or similar technologies for attribution. Their own privacy policies govern that processing.

Google Analytics 4 and Consent Mode

We use Google Analytics 4 with Advanced Consent Mode to understand visits, traffic sources, page views, device categories, and general engagement. Before you choose, analytics, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are set to denied. Google may receive limited consent and measurement signals without placing analytics cookies. If you accept analytics, analytics storage is updated to granted.

Microsoft Clarity

After you accept analytics, Microsoft Clarity may record privacy-protected interaction information such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, device details, and session behavior. We use these insights to find usability problems and improve our reviews and guides. Clarity is not loaded before analytics consent is granted.

Retention and choices

We do not maintain a visitor account database. Hosting providers, Google, and Microsoft may retain technical, advertising, or analytics information under their applicable policies. You can reject optional analytics without losing access and change that choice through the Cookie settings button. Advertising choices covered by Google's consent message can be managed through that message where it applies.
